  1. I’d known that the Mysore gets it’s name from Mahishasura, but didn’t know that it was once called Mahishana Ooru. Any idea how old this statue on Chamundi is?

  2. Very interesting. I have read the history behind it in most of our religious books but was whelmed to see you pen it down. Keep more of them coming!
